First of all, experts says that, pregnant, breastfeeding moms and children should not take shilajit in any forms.

A study found that, Shilajit can increase the iron levels in our blood, so people who have conditions having high iron or on a iron rich diet should avoid shilajit gold.

In people, who consumed large quantities of shilajit for prolonged time, showed weakness, dizziness and irregular heartbeat.

It also, when consumed in large quantity increases uric acid, sperm count and testosterone levels abnormally, which can also be fatal.

Impure shilajit may contain heavy metals like lead and mercury and is also prone to fungus.

So, it is better to consult with a professional before incorporating Shilajit or Shilajit Gold in your diet.
