WHAT IS FUNGAL ACNE ?
Fungal acne is a type of infection on your skin’s hair follicles. They are small bumbs especially present in forehead, cheek and chin. They are present close in clusters of same size without pus and remain itchy. It is caused when natural balance of yeast in your skin gets upset. They occur mainly due to moisture, diet changes, warm and humid environment, excessive sweating especially in oily skin people.

REMEDY 1: MILD EXFOLIATION
Any sort of mild exfoliation can be done since fungal acne is a result of closed pores (blackheads and whiteheads).
1. SUGAR SCRUB:
(skin type: dry to combination skin)
Mix 2 tablespoon of white sugar with 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel or honey and scrub all over your face or on places where you have your acne.
2. OATMEAL SCRUB:
(skin type: all skin types)
Grind 2 tbsp of plain oatmeal and add 1 tbsp of curd. Gently exfoliate you skin using oatmeal scrub.
3. RICE SCRUB:
(skin type: combination to oily skin)
Take 2 tbsp of dry rice flour and mix it with 1 tbsp of rose water and scrub your face
REMEDY 2: ALOE ICE CUBES
Aloe vera has antibacterial and antifungal properties that help reducing fungal acne. Aloe rehydrates your skin and reduces inflamation and itching. Ice provides a nice cooling effect and reduces swelling and the acne less noticeable. Ice also has numbing effect, which reduces itching.
Mix aloe vera gel with water in a ratio of 1:3 and refrigerate it overnight. Use the ice cubes in the morning by tapping on your skin. For best results avoid keeping icecubes continously on your skin and rubbing, either try tapping it.

STEP 2: Mix it with 2 tbsp of curd (plain yoghurt) or plain milk
STEP 3: Apply all over you face for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water

REMEDY 5: STEAMING
Steam opens up your pores and helps loosen the builup of dirt for a deeper cleanse. It softens you blackheads and whiteheads, making them easy to remove.

PRO TIP: Dip a towel in hot water and cover your face with it, it does not cause open pores later and does not harm your skin even when used regularly. Also after steaming tapping you face with ice cubes for 5 to 10 minutes helps in reducing the appearance of open pores later.

Mix 1 – 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to approximately 300 ml (one cup) of water and drink it everyday at night. It also helps in adding a nice glow to your skin.
PRO TIP: Start drinking apple cider vinegar by diluting 1 tbsp in 1 cup water first and if it suits you, step by step increase it to 2 tbsp but not more than that!
REMEDY 9: GUAVA LEAF PACK
STEP 1: Take few guava leaf (preferably 3 to 4) and grind it into a fine paste
STEP 2: You can directly apply it on your face or can mix it with rice flour or cinnamon powder
STEP 3: Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water

STEP 1: Take 1 tbsp mint powder or grind 7-8 mint leaves into a fine paste
STEP 2: Mix it with 1 tbsp of curd (plain yoghurt) and apply a thin layer evenly on your face
STEP 3: Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water
